European Orphan Hand provides food assistance to the needy in Mali's displacement camps
The European Orphan Hand (Avrupa Yetim Eli), an international help organization based in Mannheim, Germany, has distributed food assistance to the poor families living in Bamako’s IDP camps.
The organization, which aids orphans and the needy across the World, is continuing its relief efforts in Africa, distributing food and clothes, building mosques and freshwater wells, and carrying out projects that aim to help the disabled.
The organization delivered food aid to 1000 families who had to leave their homes due to the ongoing internal conflict in northern Mali.
Speaking to Ilke News Agency about the charitable activities that the European Orphan Hand is conducting in Mali, Serdar Şişman, the vice president of the organization, said: “We are continuing our relief effort at full speed in Africa. May Allah be pleased with the benefactors in Europe. It makes us proud to be a bridge between the benefactors and the needy.”
Serdar emphasized that the most basic needs of the people in the camps have yet to be met, and asked the benefactor to make more donations.
The camp residents, who were forced to leave their homes due to armed conflicts, thanked the European Orphan Hand officials for delivering the aid. (ILKHA)
