Turkey: Construction costs up 67.74% in a year
The construction cost index increased by 67.74% annually and by 15.70% monthly, the Turkish Statistical Institute said on Thursday.
In December 2021, construction cost index (CCI) increased by 15.70% compared with previous month and increased by 67.74% compared with the same month of the previous year.
Material index increased by 20.35% and labor index increased by 1.44% compared with the previous month.
Also, material index increased by 85.77% and labor index increased by 24.01% compared with the previous year.
Building construction cost index increased by 66.88% annually and by 15.23% monthly
Building construction cost index increased by 15.23% compared with previous month and increased by 66.88% compared with the same month of the previous year. Material index increased by 19.88% and labor index increased by 1.35% compared with the previous month.
Also, material index increased by 85.01% and labor index increased by 23.99% compared with the previous year.
Construction cost index for civil engineering increased by 70.63% annually and by 17.27% monthly
Construction cost index for civil engineering increased by 17.27% compared with previous month and increased by 70.63% compared with the same month of the previous year. Material index increased by 21.91% and labor index increased by 1.76% compared with the previous month.
Also, material index increased by 88.23% and labor index increased by 24.10% compared with the previous year. (ILKHA)
