Russia reports record daily rise in new COVID-19 cases since outbreak
More than 183,000 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours in Russia, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 13,330,769.
Russia has so far reported more than 337,000 COVID-related deaths, according to the health ministry.
10,803,305 patients suffering from coronavirus have been discharged from hospital after being cured.
Russia was relatively late in suffering a serious outbreak, but it is now the country with the fifth most cases in the world, after the United States, Brazil, India, and France.
The city of Moscow is currently the most affected federal subject, having the majority of confirmed cases.
Global death toll from coronavirus have reached 5,784,697, with 401,732,130 cases and 321,478,913 recoveries. (ILKHA)
