5.1 magnitude earthquake occurs off Turkey’s Mediterranean coast
The offshore quake took place at 00:03 TSI on Thursday, according to Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency.
The epicenter of the earthquake was off the Gazipaşa district of Turkey's southern Antalya province.
According to local sources, the tremor was felt throughout Antalya, Burdur, southeastern Denizli, Isparta, southern Konya, Karaman, western Mersin, and eastern Mugla provinces in Turkey and most of Cyprus.
There have been no reports about victims or possible damages. (ILKHA)
