A 5.6 magnitude earthquake hits Myanmar-India border region
A Moderate 5.6 magnitude earthquake struck the Myanmar-India border region on Friday, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre said.
The quake struck at 3:42 PM local time at a depth of 60 km from the surface, according to the agency.
The tremor of the earthquake was 58 km southeast of Champhai in the Indo-Myanmar border region.
There were no immediate reports of casualty or loss to property from the quake. (ILKHA)
