Ghassan Daghlas, an official in charge of the settlement file in the northern West Bank, said several Palestinians were injured as clashes broke out at the entrance to Burqa town in Nablus.

The Red Crescent Society reported 20 injuries in the Burqa clashes, including 17 who suffered from tear-gas inhalation, one rubber bullet injury, and two burn injuries.

Meanwhile, eight members of the same family suffered from tear-gas inhalation after being attacked by a group of Jewish settlers in Beita town in southern Nablus.

Zionist occupation forces (ZOF) opened fire at the local residents to evacuate a settler who infiltrated into Beita town, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.

In Jenin, Palestinian resistance fighters opened fire at a ZOF patrol as it was passing near Jaba' town, south of the city.

In Qalqilya, Palestinian young men stoned Jewish settlers' vehicles while passing near Azzun town.

The West Bank has recently witnessed a sharp rise in Jewish settlers' attacks on Palestinians and their properties.

According to estimates, some 640,000 Jewish settlers currently live on 196 settlements and more than 200 settler outposts throughout the occupied West Bank. (ILKHA)
