European Orphan Hand distributes food assistance in Afghanistan
The European Orphan Hand (Avrupa Yetim Eli), an international help organization based in Mannheim, Germany, has distributed food in the Juzcan province of Afghanistan.
With the support of benefactors, the organization, which aids orphans and the needy across the World, is continuing its relief efforts in Afghanistan.
The officers of the organization visited the Sheberghan city, and provided humanitarian assistance to Afghans affected by the US occupation, drought and economic crisis.
With the slogan “Brotherhood Dining Table”, the foundation delivered bread, food parcels and hot meals to hundreds of families in Afghanistan, where an estimated 22.8 million people — more than half the country's population — are facing potentially life-threatening food insecurity this winter.
The European Orphan Hand officials said that they would continue to carry out relief efforts in the region with the support of their donors. (ILKHA)
