Erdoğan inaugurates paper mill in Aydın
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan opened Batı Kipaş Paper Mill in Aydın’s Söke district.
Making a speech at the opening ceremony, Erdoğan noted that the mill, which would significantly meet Türkiye’s need for paper, would also greatly contribute to lowering Türkiye’s current account deficit by ending imports worth $250 million and conducting exports worth $200 million.
Erdoğan further stressed that the mill, equipped with state-of-the-art machines and technology, would make production from waste paper through recycling and thus would play a significant role in Türkiye’s green revolution in the economy as well.
Later on, President Erdoğan addressed the opening ceremony of Gökbel Dam and other newly-built facilities in Aydın. In his address, Erdoğan underlined: “We will definitely achieve our goal of a great and powerful Türkiye, which we will build upon the services and projects we have implemented in our country over the past 20 years.” (ILKHA)
