Haneyya: zionist occupation entity has no future
Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya has affirmed that “the zionist enemy has no future on the Palestinian land”.
“Palestine will remain alive in the conscience of the [Palestinian] people and the Arab and Muslim nations,” Haneyya underlined.
Haneyya said in an interview with Al-Jazeera TV on Sunday evening that "there is no way other than the return of the Palestinians to their homeland and the villages from which they were expelled."
The Hamas leader underlined his Movement’s keenness on extracting the freedom of Palestinian prisoners from israeli jails, describing their release as “a national issue par excellence.”
Haneyya also talked in brief about the great resistance history of Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, the founder of Hamas and highlighted in particular his sacrifices, religious commitment and social relations.
“Sheikh Ahmed Yassin always emphasized that the people who win the battle of the generation win the battle of the future,” he said.
“The spirit of resistance inhabited him, and he was able to start the revolution and make the intifada (uprising) despite his paralyzed body,” he added. (ILKHA)
