ZOF kidnap dozens of Palestinians in Jerusalem, West Bank
The zionist occupation forces (ZOF) carried out a large-scale raid and arrest campaign across the West Bank and Jerusalem at dawn Monday.
According to local sources, the ZOF troops kidnaped 17 Palestinians, three of whom were rounded up in Beita town in Nablus.
Six more Palestinians were kidnapped in Occupied Jerusalem, including two ex-prisoners.
Seven youths were rounded up in Bethlehem, including six from Beit Fujar town, while another was detained in Jenin.
Meanwhile, ZOF soldiers violently stormed and searched a local house in the town of Bir Al-Basha near Jenin, belonging to the prisoner Yaqoub Qadri, one of the six prisoners who escaped Gilboa prison last summer.
The zionist occupation army often carries out detention raids against Palestinians in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, claiming to arrest wanted Palestinians.
Over the past year, zionist forces carried out 4,084 raid campaigns across the West Bank and Jerusalem, and arrested 5,286 Palestinians from different parts of the occupied territories.
The zionist occupation regime currently holds 4,650 Palestinians, including 34 women, 160 children, and 500 administrative detainees in its jails. (ILKHA)
