Turkey: Felicity Party Chairman hospitalized for COVID -19
The leader of Turkey's opposition Felicity Party, Temel Karamollaoğlu, was hospitalized for COVID-19 on Sunday.
Karamollaoğlu, 80, who tested positive for coronavirus pandemic last week, was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure, the Felicity Party said in a statement on Twitter.
“Our Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu was hospitalized in Ankara City Hospital, where he went for control today, for precautionary and treatment purposes, upon the advice of his doctors. The health condition of our President, who will continue his treatment here for a while, is good,” the statement said.
Temel Karamollaoğlu has been serving as the chairman of Felicity Party since October 30, 2016. (ILKHA)
