Turkey: Maximum monthly real profit rate was realized in US Dollar
US Dollar yielded the highest monthly real profit with the rates of 6.51% and 11.67% according to domestic producer price index (D-PPI) and consumer price index (CPI), respectively, the Turkish Statistical Institute said.
According to D-PPI, the monthly real profit rate of investors of Euro and gold (ingot) yielded real profit with the rates of 5.55% and 5.14%, respectively. However, the monthly real profit rate of investors of stock exchange, deposit interest and government domestic debt instruments (GDDI) lost by 1.88%, 14.97% and 19.09%, respectively.
According to CPI, the monthly real profit rates of Euro, gold (ingot) and stock exchange yielded real profit with the rates of 10.66%, 10.23% and 2.87%, respectively. However, the monthly real profit rate of investors of deposit interest and GDDI lost by 10.86% and 15.17% respectively.
Gold (ingot) made the highest real profit with the rates of 16.47% according to D-PPI and 33.37% according to CPI, quarterly. In the same period, GDDI made the highest loss with the rates of 30.24% according to D-PPI and 20.12% according to CPI.
Bi-annually, US Dollar made the highest real profit with the rates of 6.80% according to D-PPI and 25.46% according to CPI. In the same period, investors of GDDI made the highest loss with the rate of 31.10% according to D-PPI and 19.06% according to CPI.
Maximum annual real profit rate was created by US Dollar
US Dollar yielded the highest annual real profit with the rate of 29.19% according to CPI. However, in the same period US Dollar lost by 2.27% according to D-PPI.
According to D-PPI, the annual real profit rate of investors of gold (ingot), Euro, stock exchange, deposit interest and GDDI lost by 5.12%, 9.23%, 21.32%, 36.26% and 44.30%. According to CPI, the annual real profit rates of gold (ingot), Euro and stock exchange yielded real profit with the rates of 25.43%, 19.99% and 4.00%, respectively. However, the annual real profit rate of investors of deposit interest and GDDI lost by 15.73% and 26.37%. (ILKHA)
