Magnitude 6.0 earthquake hits eastern Taiwan
A magnitude 6.0 earthquake jolted all of Taiwan proper at 5:46 p.m. Monday evening, according to the Central Weather Bureau (CWB).
The epicenter of the earthquake was 56.7 kilometers east of Hualien County Hall, with a depth of 19.4 km.
The tremor was felt in the capital Taipei but no immediate reports of injuries or damage from the quake. (ILKHA)
