“The blood that was shed in al-Furqan Battle made a victory and laid the groundwork for subsequent victories in the battles of our struggle against the enemy — the last of which was the Sword of Jerusalem Battle,” Haneyya said during phone calls with relatives of victims.

“On this painful day, Gaza came under brutal attack that claimed the lives of hundreds and started with a malicious strike by the enemy on the headquarters of the Palestinian police and national security,” the Hamas leader added, recalling the day when the war started.

“We ask Allah to bestow His mercy upon the pure souls of the martyrs, who were killed during that battle and that strike. I salute all their families and children,” Haneyya said. (ILKHA)
