Zionist regime attacks Syria’s Latakia port
The Zionist occupation army carried out an air attack with missiles in Latakia, Syria, targeting the container yard in the port.
The attack led to fires in the port and caused great material damage to the container terminal.
“At about 03:21 a.m. on Tuesday, the Israeli enemy launched an aerial aggression with a wave of missiles from the depth of the Mediterranean Sea, west of Lattakia, targeting the container yard at the commercial port in Lattakia,” the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) said, adding that the zionist aggression caused the eruption of fires in the place and significant materialistic damages.
The work is underway to put out the fires and assess the results of the aggression, according to the agency.
On December 7, the Zionist occupation forces launched missile aggression targeting the container yard at Lattakia commercial port. (ILKHA)
