Turkey extends condolences to Bangladesh over ferry accident
Turkish Foreign Ministry has issued a press release regarding the ferry accident in Bangladesh.
“We are saddened to learn that more than 30 people lost their lives and more than 100 are wounded this morning (24 December) when a ferry caught fire in Jhalokathi town, 250 km south of the capital Dhaka,” the Ministry said.
“We wish Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives during the fire, extend our heartfelt condolences to their relatives as well as to the friendly people and government of Bangladesh, and wish speedy recovery to the injured,” the Ministry added. (ILKHA)
