European Orphan Hand provides food assistance to the needy in Somalia
The European Orphan Hand (Avrupa Yetim Eli), an international help organization based in Mannheim, Germany, has distributed food assistance to internally displaced people in Mogadishu, the Somali capital.
The organization, which aids orphans and the needy across the World, is continuing its relief efforts in Africa, distributing food and clothes, building mosques and freshwater wells, and carrying out projects that aim to help the disabled.
The organization distributed the food parcels to Somalis who were forced to leave their homes and live in camps.
Speaking on the charitable work that they carry out in the camp, Nizamettin Aygan, one of the representatives of the European Orphan Hand, said: “We are happy that we could give the food assistance provided by benefactors to the needy in the camp. We helped over 200 families with the food parcels. I would like to thank the benefactors for their donations.”
Aygan underlined that they aim to reach more people in need with the donations of philanthropists. (ILKHA)
