Hamas hails UN General Assembly's vote on Palestinian right to self-determination
Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Qanuo, spokesman of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has issued a statement regarding UN General Assembly's vote on Palestinian right to self-determination.
“Hamas welcomes the United Nations General Assembly vote on a resolution that supports the Palestinian people's right to self-determination. The overwhelming majority voted in favor of our Palestinian people's right to establish their independent state,” Al-Qanuo said. “As Hamas commends positions of the voting countries in favor of our Palestinian people, it considers this vote a victory for the Palestinian just cause and a failure of the Zionist entity.”
“Hamas also reaffirms the US hostile positions against the international consensus and insistence on its flagrant bias to the occupation,” he added. (ILKHA)
