Turkish FM Çavuşoğlu participates in “Third Turkey-Africa Partnership Summit”
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has attended the Third Turkey-Africa Partnership Summit in Istanbul.
Çavuşoğlu is holding bilaterals with his counterparts in the framework of the Third Turkey-Africa Partnership Summit taking place on December 16-18 in Istanbul under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey, attended by the Heads of State/Government and Ministers of African countries and the African Union Commission.
Çavuşoğlu met first with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation Albert Shingiro of Burundi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Kandia Kamissoko Camara of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Frederic Shava of the Republic of Zimbabwe.
Then, Minister Çavuşoğlu met with his colleagues Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed from Mauritania, Sylvie Baïpo-Temon from Central African Republic, David John Francis from Sierra Leone, and Abdisaid Muse Ali from Somalia.
Minister Çavuşoğlu held meetings respectively with Foreign Minister Chérif Mahamat Zene of Chad, Foreign Minister Lejeune Mbella Mbella of Cameroon and Fevzi El-Nuwayri, Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives of Libya. (ILKHA)
