3rd Turkey-Africa Partnership Summit starts in Istanbul
The 3rd Turkey-Africa Partnership Summit, which is hosted by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, started in Istanbul on Thursday.
The Summit started with the meeting of high-level government officials and will continue with the meeting of ministers of foreign affairs on Friday.
Concurrent sessions on healthcare, education, and agriculture among relevant ministers were also held on the same day.
With the communique, action plan, and joint implementation report, expected to be adopted at the Summit, the relations improving in every area between Turkey and Africa, including the concrete projects to be carried out for the benefit of the continent, will be shaped between 2022 and 2026 until the next Summit.
Turkish President Erdoğan is holding bilateral meetings with his counterparts on the sidelines of the Summit. (ILKHA)
