Powerful magnitude 7.3 earthquake hits Indonesia
A powerful 7.5-magnitude earthquake hit eastern Indonesia on Tuesday prompting a tsunami warning.
The epicenter of the earthquake was north of the island of Flores in Indonesia’s East Nusa Tenggara province, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
Indonesia’s Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency known as BMKG issued tsunami warnings for the areas of Maluku, East Nusa Tenggara, West Nusa Tenggara and Southeast and South Sulawesi.
There was no immediate word on any casualties or damage. (ILKHA)
