Over 102 kg of heroin seized in eastern Turkey
Turkish gendarmerie teams seized 102,5 kg of heroin in the Başkale district of Turkey’s eastern Van province on Monday, the governor’s office said in a statement.

The operation is ongoing to nab the fugitive suspects, the statement said.
Turkey maintains strict laws against the use, possession, or trafficking of illegal drugs. If convicted under these offenses, one could receive a heavy fine or a prison sentence of 4 to 24 years. (ILKHA)
