Turkish president Erdoğan to visit Tehran, Iranian FM spokesman says
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said that Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan would pay a visit to Iran in the near future.
Khatibzadeh stated that “Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi is planning to visit some neighboring countries and the presidents of some neighboring countries, including President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, will visit Iran soon.”
On Wednesday, Erdoğan held a phone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Raisi.
Two leaders discussed bilateral relations and regional issues, according to the Turkish presidency. (ILKHA)
