European Orphan Hand delivers food assistance in Mali
The European Orphan Hand (Avrupa Yetim Eli), an international help organization based in Mannheim, Germany, has distributed food aid to the poor in Bamako, Mali.
The organization, which aids orphans and the needy across the World, is continuing its relief efforts in Africa, distributing food and clothes, building mosques and freshwater wells, and carrying out projects that aim to help the disabled.
With the support of benefactors, the organization delivered food packages to Malians, most of whom were orphans, struggling to survive in the camps.
Speaking to İLKHA News Agency about the charitable activities that the European Orphan Hand is conducting in Mali, Deputy Chairman of the organization Serdar Şişman said: “People live in tents here. This is a tent camp that houses more than 1200 people. People are suffering in these camps. As European Orphan Hand, we will continue our charitable works here. The needy in the camp, especially the children, welcomed us with great joy.”
The camp residents, who were forced to leave their homes due to armed conflicts, thanked the European Orphan Hand officials for delivering the aid. (ILKHA)
