The top Hamas official emphasized, during opening the 12th "Pioneers of Jerusalem Conference", organized by the Global Coalition for Quds and Palestine (GCQP) in Istanbul, that the "Sword of Jerusalem" battle constituted an important shift in the conflict with the Zionist enemy which led to positive trends and important developments.

The sword of Jerusalem will not be sheathed until the liberation of Palestine, Jerusalem, and Al-Aqsa Mosque, Haniyeh added.

Concerning the conference, Haniyeh confirmed that it is a partnership of liberation towards Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa, and Resistance, adding that Palestine is the issue of the Ummah and the free people of the world.

We must have an integrated plan to end normalization, which, unfortunately, has improved into military and security alliances with some normalizing countries, Haniyeh added, noting that normalization will weaken the normalizing governments.

Regarding the American withdrawal from Afghanistan, Haniyeh stressed it will be followed by other retreats and weaken its allies, foremost the Zionist entity. The USA is no longer the world's policeman nor able to impose its hegemony and tyranny on the peoples of the nations, he added.

In another context, Haniyeh reviewed three priorities for the Ummah in the current period represented in raising the status of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa, supporting the resistance in Palestine, and overthrowing normalization.

"The resistance continues to accumulate power and possess that strength means and capabilities to remain the strategic choice for liberating Palestine and confronting the occupation," Haniyeh continued. (ILKHA)
