Hamas values Moroccan people’s position against normalization
The Hamas Movement has appreciated the Moroccan popular rejection of their government’s normalization deals with the zionist occupation regime.
“We highly value the Moroccan people’s nationwide rejection of all the normalization agreements signed with the Zionist occupation, and we applaud the popular and unionist rallies that were staged to oppose normalization,” Hamas spokesman Hazem Qasem stated on Tuesday.
Spokesman Qasem said that “the normalization trajectory that was taken by some Arab countries would only serve the Zionist occupation and cause a serious harm to the Arab national security.”
“The widespread rejection of normalization among the Arab masses reflects our nation’s awareness about the dangers of this path,” the spokesman added.
“The Arab nation has always considered Palestine its central cause and the Zionist entity its arch-enemy,” he underlined.
Recently, the zionist occupation regime and Morocco signed an agreement that laid the foundation for security cooperation, intelligence sharing, and future arms sales.
The memorandum of understanding in this regard was signed a week ago in Rabat between Israeli war minister Benny Gantz and his Moroccan counterpart Abdellatif Loudiyi
Morocco, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Sudan signed agreements to normalize relations with Israel in 2020 as part of the Abraham Accords, which were brokered by the Trump administration at the behest of some Gulf countries. (ILKHA)
