Turkey’s economic confidence index decreases by 2.0% in November
The economic confidence index which was 101.4 in October decreased by 2.0% in November to 99.3, the Turkish Statistical Institute said in a statement on Monday.
This decrease in economic confidence index stemmed from the decreases in consumer and services confidence indices, according to the statement.
Consumer confidence index decreased by 7.3% and became 71.1, services confidence index decreased by 0.7% and became 119.4.
On the other hand, real sector (manufacturing industry) confidence index increased by 0.6% and became 112.0, retail trade confidence index increased by 0.6% and became 121.9, construction confidence index increased by 1.0% and became 93.6 in November compared to the previous month. (ILKHA)
