Regarding the vehicle registrations in October, cars accounted for 50.8%, followed by motorcycles 22.8%, small trucks 15.4%, tractors 7.0%, trucks 2.9%, minibuses 0.5%, buses 0.4% and special purpose vehicles 0.2%.

The number of road motor vehicle registrations decreased by 7.9% compared with the previous month

In October, compared with the previous month, the number of road motor vehicle registrations increased by 27.1% for special purpose vehicles, 19.2% for trucks, 15.6% for small trucks, while it decreased by 46.9% for minibuses, 27.6% for motorcycles, 12.2% for buses, 10.3% for tractors and 2.1% for cars respectively.

The number of road motor vehicles registered decreased by 25.1% compared with the same month of the previous year

In October, compared with the same month of the previous year, the number of road motor vehicle registrations increased by 12.7%, 5.6%, 3.9% and 3.8% for trucks, motorcycles, tractors and special purpose vehicles while it decreased by 38.6%, 21.0%, 17.0% and 13.5% for cars, minibuses, small trucks, and buses respectively. 

At the end of October, the total number of road motor vehicles registered reached 25 million 105 thousand 532

At the end of October, cars represented 54.3%, small trucks 16.3%, motorcycles 14.8%, tractors 8.0%, trucks 3.5%, minibuses 2.0%, buses 0.8% and special purpose vehicles 0.3% of total number of road motor vehicles registered.

884 thousand 90 road motor vehicles handed over in October

Among vehicles handed over in October, cars accounted for 71.4% followed by small trucks 15.6%, motorcycles 5.4%, tractors 3.2%, trucks 2.0%, minibuses 1.8%, buses 0.5% and special purpose vehicles 0.1%. 

In October, 43 thousand 538 cars were registered to the traffic

In terms of the distribution of trademarks for the new registered cars in October, Fiat recorded 16.9%, Renault 12.0%, Volkswagen 8.5%, Hyundai 7.8%, Peugeot 6.6%, Citroen 5.7%, Honda 5.3%, Toyota 5.2%, Dacia 4.9%, Opel 4.0%, Ford 2.9%, BMW 2.8%, Audi 2.6%, Kia 2.5%, Mercedes-Benz 2.2%, Seat 1.9%, Nissan 1.8%, Volvo 1.4%, Skoda 1.4%, Suzuki 0.7% and the other trademarks 3.2% of the total.            

In the period of January-October 998 thousand 860 road motor vehicles were registered

In January-October period, compared to the same period of the previous year, the number of registered vehicles increased by 17.4% and became 998 thousand 860 while the number of withdrawn road motor vehicles decreased by 13.8% and became 34 thousand 111. Hence, in the period of January-October the increase in motor vehicles registered became 964 thousand 749.

In the period of January-October the ratio of cars registered using gasoline was 61.7%

Among 540 thousand 642 cars registered in the period of January-October, the share of gasoline-fuelled cars was 61.7% followed by diesel-fuelled cars with 23.9%, electric or hybrid cars with 8.9% and LPG-fuelled cars with 5.5%. At the end of October, among 13 million 634 thousand 249 registered cars, the share of diesel-fuelled cars was 37.7% followed by LPG-fuelled cars with 36.0% and gasoline-fuelled cars with 25.4%. The share of electric or hybrid cars was 0.6% and the cars with unknown fuel type was 0.3%.

Most frequent engine size was 1401-1500 for registered cars in January-October period

Within 540 thousand 642 cars registered to traffic in January-October period, 28.9% had 1401-1500, 26.6% had 1300 or less, 22.2% had 1301-1400, 14.8% had 1501-1600, 6.2% had 1601-2000, 0.7% had 2001 and above engine size.  

In January-October period 221 thousand 452 of cars registered were white

Within 540 thousand 642 cars registered to traffic in January-October period, 41.0% of them were white, 27.5% were grey, 11.0% were blue, 7.7% were red, 6.3% were black, 2.2% were orange, 1.1% were brown, 0.6% were yellow, 0.4% were green and 2.2% were in other colors. (ILKHA)
