Seven Turkish nationals, who were kidnapped in eastern Libya by warlord Khalifa Haftar’s militia groups in 2019, have been rescued by the mediation of Qatar on Sunday.
The rescued citizens, who had been detained upon baseless allegations, were identified as Hidayet Yaprak, Ilker Sağlık, Doğan Kıssa, Ahmet Selvi, Nurettin Çalık, Halil Gözel and Abdul Samet Akçay.
