Benediction, commendation, consecration, and thanksgiving
In the name of Allah. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds
With the help and support of our Creator, we held the 6th convocation of scholars. As a result of the presentations, evaluations, and consultations, our precious participants have agreed on the following points:
- It is beyond explication and illustration that the objective of the unity of Muslims is not an easy target. Therefore, when we talk about unity and unanimity of Muslims, we know that this goal will not be realized promptly, directly. Nonetheless, this should not prevent the steps to be taken on that path because every stage to be overcome on this path will bring us closer to the goal. In this framework, loving all Muslims from the heart will be the first step to be taken on this path and a common decision by Muslim communities not to shoot each other, regardless of the circumstances, will be a quite significant step in this issue.
- It is the duty of the entire ummah, nation to prevent normalization with Israel and to be opposed to Israel until they leave the holy places they occupy. Besides, this refusal has the potential to unite, unify Muslims around Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque. Unquestionably, it is the task of the ulama namely scholars, who are most aware of these issues, to revive the ummah, nation on that issue.
- The Western world is aware that the biggest hardship to carry out the dream of being the only living civilization is the Islamic Civilization. Therefore, it assaults Islam religion and Muslims with all the means at its disposal. Our most important task in the face of these attacks will be to make these attacks visible to the world's public opinion and then to demonstrate the enormity of Islamic Civilization to the whole world with vigorous counter-propaganda.
- The Covid-19 pandemic has profoundly affected us and our society, as it has affected the whole world. It seems that this impact and impression will continue for a few more years, decades and maybe this will resume with new, eccentric, and unknown epidemics. Hence, we must get used to live with such epidemics and we must not allow this epidemic to unsettle our worship, science, education, and social responsibilities.
- Just as it is not possible to write the history of Jerusalem without commemorating the great commander Saladin, the history of Jerusalem cannot be written without mentioning the Kurdish people. As the Kurdish people have always tried to accomplish their responsibilities by being aware of their responsibilities towards Jerusalem. In addition, they are also aware of their responsibilities today.
- Our past belief books responded beautifully, gorgeously to the assaults on Islam and the Islamic faith in their own time. Currently, new assaults are being made from a totally different direction. It is impossible for us to reply to today's attacks with our classical books. Therefore, as in the whole world, thoughtful and severe studies must be carried out against the invasions on the Islamic faith in the Kurdish geography and these raids should be repelled with satisfactory sensible evidence.
- Religious responsibility requires defending the rights of every right holder. Today, the Kurdish people are also deprived of various human rights. It is a religious and humanitarian task to defend these rights and to make the necessary effort to recover these rights.
- While disintegration, divergence and discord open the door to all kinds of evil; unity, unanimity, and solidarity open the door to great goodness, virtue, and superiority as well. In this sense, the role of Ulema is immense for the Kurds to reach a point where they can resolve their internal combats by talking. Undoubtedly, in order for the ulama to play this role, the leaders have got some responsibilities.
- The Kurds, as a substantial member of the Islamic Ummah, have contributed to Islam and the Islamic cultural corpus throughout history. Thousands of scholars, from Ibn Salah to Ibn Esir, from Amidi to Ibn Taymiye, and from Babanzade Ahmet Naim to Master Said Nursi in our epoch, have carried the flag of science and they will continue to carry it today inshaallah.
