Poland to build wall to prevent migrants crossing from Belarus
The Polish government is set to build a border wall costing more than €350 million to stop irregular migrants entering from Belarus.
The country's conservative government approved a draft law on Wednesday to build a barrier with a monitoring system and motion sensors at the border with Belarus, in an effort to prevent irregular migrants illegally crossing into Polish territory.
The cost of building the wall is estimated at over €353 million.
Poland has already deployed at the border to turn back migrants attempting to cross into the European Union. (ILKHA)
