Number of confirmed coronavirus cases surpasses 237,6 million worldwide
Over 4,85 million people have so far died of coronavirus pandemic around the world.
The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China, and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
The United States has the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus with 45,021,267 cases, followed by India with 33,915,569 cases, Brazil with 21,532,558, the United Kingdom with 8,046,390 cases, and Russia with 7,690,110 cases.
More than 214,6 million people suffering from coronavirus have so far recovered and been discharged from hospitals worldwide. (ILKHA)
