Turkey’s coronavirus death toll rises to 65,590
217 more people have died due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 65,590, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 7,357,336, after 30,019 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.
While at least 633 patients are in critical condition, more than 6,8 million patients suffering from the disease have recovered and been discharged from the hospital.
About 88,5 million tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
