Global coronavirus death toll exceeds 4,82 million
More than 236 million people have so far tested positive for coronavirus around the world.
The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China, and declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization on March 11, 2020, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of coronavirus-related fatalities, with 722,268 deaths, followed by Brazil with 598,185 deaths, India with 449,283, and Mexico with 279,104 deaths.
Around 213,3 million patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospitals worldwide. (ILKHA)
