Turkey: Economic confidence index realizes as 102.4
The economic confidence index which was 100.8 in August increased by 1.6% in September to 102.4, the Turkish Statistical Institute said in a statement on Wednesday.
This increase in economic confidence index stemmed from the increases in consumer, real sector (manufacturing industry), services and retail trade confidence indices, according to the statement.
Consumer confidence index increased by 1.8% and became 79.7, real sector confidence index increased by 1.0% and became 113.3, services confidence index increased by 1.5% and became 117.8, retail trade confidence index increased by 4.8% and became 115.6.
On the other hand, construction confidence index decreased by 0.7% and became 91.8 in September compared to the previous month. (ILKHA)
