Pakistani PM: The country that suffered the most from destabilized Afghanistan was Pakistan
Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan addressed via prerecorded video the General Debate of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly at UN headquarters in New York.
“I want all to know that the country that suffered the most from destabilized Afghanistan, apart from Afghanistan, was Pakistan,” Khan said. “The moment the reasons behind the surrender of 300,000 well equipped, brave Afghan Army personnel are deeply analyzed, the World would know why Taliban are back in power, and it is not because of Pakistan! “
“If a destabilized and chaotic Afghanistan again becomes a safe haven for international terrorists, it will have serious repercussions not just for the neighbors of Afghanistan but everywhere,” Khan warned.
He also called on the World Community to incentivize and encourage the Taliban to walk the talk, emphasizing that it will be a win-win situation for everyone. (ILKHA)
