UN special coordinator for the Middle East peace process visits Gaza
Tor Wennesland, the UN special coordinator for the Middle East peace process, arrived with his entourage in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday via the Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing.
The visit was not scheduled and it is not known if the visit is for coordinating UN projects in Gaza or Wennesland is going to meet Hamas leaders.
Two million Palestinians in Gaza suffer life difficulties due to the ongoing Israeli siege since Hamas won the 2006 general elections. (ILKHA)
