Zionist occupation forces injure 22 Palestinians in Nablus
At least 22 Palestinian young men suffered injuries during violent clashes with the zionist occupation forces on Tuesday evening at the Huwara checkpoint, south of Nablus.
Red Crescent official Ahmed Jibril said that four young men suffered from rubber bullet injuries, 16 from tear gas and two had fall injuries during the events.
In Bethlehem, several young men suffered from their exposure to tear gas during similar clashes at the northern entrance to the city.
Clashes also took place last night and at dawn Wednesday between local youths and the ZOF at the Jalamah checkpoint and on the road near the illegal settlement of Dotan in Jenin.
Local sources said that dozens of young men rallied in solidarity with the Palestinian prisoners in israeli jails in these two areas, where they torched tires and hurled stones at soldiers and their vehicles.
Meanwhile, a large number of zionist troops stormed Ya’bad town and Araqah village in Jenin and carried out a large-scale search campaign.
Last night, the ZOF kidnaped two young men identified as Nazal Jamal and Mahmoud Aziz from their homes in Ya’bad town.
In a separate incident, resistance fighters opened fire at a zionist military post on Mount Gerizim in Nablus and the Jalamah army base near Jenin.
Recently, West Bank young men started engaging in daily clashes with the ZOF in different flashpoint areas in solidarity with the prisoners.
Zionist military posts in the West Bank also came under fire several times in recent days after the Palestinian resistance factions warned the occupation entity that they would not remain silent on its violations against the prisoners. (ILKHA)
