The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China, and declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization on March 11, 2020, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.

The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of coronavirus-related fatalities, with 666,559 deaths, followed by Brazil with 583,866 deaths, India with 441,075, and Mexico with 263,470 deaths.

At least 198,612,437 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospitals worldwide. (ILKHA)
