Global coronavirus death toll rises to 4,548,143
About 220 million people have so far tested positive for coronavirus around the world.
The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China, and declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization on March 11, 2020, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of coronavirus-related fatalities, with 659,927 deaths, followed by Brazil with 581,228 deaths, India with 439,559, and Mexico with 260,503 deaths.
At least 196,229,803 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospitals worldwide. (ILKHA)
