Three Gazans injured in renewed border clashes with ZOF
Three Palestinian protesters were slightly injured on Wednesday night during renewed anti-siege clashes with the zionist occupation forces (ZOF) near the border fence in the southeast of the Gaza Strip.
According to local sources, hundreds of young men carrying flags and torches started rallying in the evening near the border fence in the east of Rafah in protest at the israeli blockade on Gaza.
During the events, which continued into the night, the young men torched tires, detonated homemade explosives and fired firecrackers towards the border fence.
The ZOF, in turn, fired flares over the area, opened fire at the protesters, and used quadcopters to shower them with tear gas canisters.
Tension escalated in the Gaza Strip in recent weeks as the Israeli occupation government continues to impose tight restrictions on the coastal enclave. (ILKHA)
