Number of confirmed coronavirus cases surpasses 217,6 million worldwide
At least 4,536,050 people have so far died of coronavirus pandemic around the world.
The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China, and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus with 40,114,099 cases, followed by India with 32,810,892 cases, Brazil with 20,777,867, Russia with 6,937,333 cases, and the United States with 6,789,581 cases.
At least 195,526,263 people suffering from coronavirus have so far recovered and been discharged from hospitals worldwide. (ILKHA)
