OIC offers condolences to Afghanistan over Kabul airport victims
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation has released a statement regarding the deadly attacks at Kabul airport that killed at least 103 people, including 13 U.S service members.
“The secretariat condemned in the strongest terms the heinous terrorist bombing that took place today in the vicinity of the airport of the Afghan capital, Kabul, which resulted in the deaths and injuries, including civilians and children,” the organization said.
“Secretary-general of Islamic Cooperation, Dr. Youssef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, offered sincere condolences to the families of the victims, wishing the wounded a speedy recovery,” the organization added. (ILKHA)
