HÜDA PAR: Taliban should adopt an inclusive approach in forming a new government in Afghanistan
HÜDA PAR spokesperson Şehzade Demir shared his party's thoughts regarding the recent developments in Afghanistan.
Demir stated that the Taliban’s first messages after it gained control in Kabul increased hopes for the future.
“We hope that a pluralistic governance model based on the justice and moderate understanding of Islam will be adopted in the country,” Demir said.
Emphasizing that the departure of foreign powers from the country is the most pleasing aspect of the process, Demir went on to say: “There is no doubt that these developments are a very important process for Afghanistan. The Afghan people, who have lived through war and destruction for decades, need peace, tranquility, and serenity the most today. The suffering of the Afghan people must end now. We hope that the new process will be instrumental in ending the suffering. The first messages of the Taliban administration, that no one will be punished and that a general amnesty will be declared, were received positively in Afghan society and around the world and increased hopes for the future.”
"Peace and brotherhood should prevail in the country"
“We hope that the Taliban administration will prioritize the interests of its own society, take the justice and moderate understanding of Islam as a basis, and adopt a pluralistic administration in which all parties can be represented without excluding anyone. The hostilities in the past should be left behind, and peace and brotherhood should prevail in the country,” Demir concluded. (ILKHA)
