Japan orders evacuation of 235,000 people as Lupit typhoon reaches the Sea of Japan
Japanese officials have ordered the evacuation of 235,200 people from the prefectures of Hiroshima, Shimane and Ehime over the Lupit typhoon.
The typhoon will bring downpours and strong winds to western, eastern, and northern Japan areas through Tuesday, according to the Japan Meteorological Agency.
Japanese airliners canceled 63 flights in the southwestern part of the country, local media outlets reported. (ILKHA)
