North Macedonia to hold local elections on 17 October
Local elections in North Macedonia will be held on 17 October, announced Talat Xhaferi, the Speaker of the Assembly of Northern Macedonia.

“Today I signed the decision to announce the elections for members of the municipal councils and members of the City Council of Skopje, for mayors,” Xhaferi said.
Speaking at the press conference which was held after the signing ceremony, Xhaferi stated that the election campaigns will start 20 days before 17 October.
He also called on the parties participating in the election process to act within the framework of the constitution, laws, and ethical rules during the election campaigns.
Local elections in North Macedonia were last held on 15 October 2017. (ILKHA)
