Turkey: About 400,000 students take Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS) amid coronavirus measures
Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS) has been held in 85 exam centers in Turkey.
The Evaluation, Selection, and Placement Center (ÖSYM) carries out the procedures related to the vertical transfer of associate degree holders to undergraduate programs.
In accordance with the “Regulations on Transfer to Undergraduate Degree Programs for Graduates of Vocational Schools and Open Education Associate Degree Programs”, graduates of associate degree programs in a vocational school or the Faculty of Open Education are eligible for admission to undergraduate programs by Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS).
Students are placed to undergraduate programs in Turkish Universities according to their DGS (Vertical Transfer Examination) results and the students’ preference. (ILKHA)
