Turkey’s chicken meat production decreases in May
Chicken meat production in Turkey was 179 thousand 163 tons, hen egg production was 1.6 billion units, the Turkish Statistical Institute said in a statement on Friday.
Chicken meat production decreased by 2.4%, the number of the slaughtered chicken decreased by 3%, hen egg production decreased by 5.2% and turkey meat production decreased by 20.3% in May compared with the same month of the previous year.
Chicken meat production decreased by 2.3%, hen egg production decreased by 3.6%, the number of the slaughtered chicken decreased by 5.2% and turkey meat production decreased by 20% in the January-May period compared with the same period of the previous year.
Chicken meat production decreased by 5.8% in May compared with the previous month and realized as 179 thousand 163 tons.
The number of the slaughtered chicken decreased by 4.8% in May compared with the previous month and realized as 99 million 189 thousand units. (ILKHA)
