Turkey: Economic confidence index realizes as 97.8 in June
The economic confidence index which was 92.6 in May increased by 5.6% in June to 97.8, the Turkish Statistical Institute said in a statement on Tuesday.
This increase in the economic confidence index stemmed from the increases in consumer, real sector (manufacturing industry), services, retail trade, and construction confidence indices, according to the statement.
Consumer confidence index increased by 5.8% and became 81.7, real sector confidence index increased by 2.5% and became 109.8, services confidence index increased by 6.2% and became 108.5, retail trade confidence index increased by 4.8% and became 105.7, construction confidence index increased by 3.6% and became 82.4 in June compared to the previous month.
