Turkey: Services confidence index realized as 108.5
The Turkish Statistic Institute said in a statement that the confidence index increased in services, retail trade, and construction sectors.
The seasonally adjusted confidence index increased by 6.2% in services, 4.8% in retail trade and 3.6% in construction sectors in June compared to May.

Seasonally adjusted confidence index which was 102.2 for services in May increased by 6.2% in June to 108.5. In services sector compared to the previous month, business situation over past three months sub-index increased by 5.6% to 102.2. Demand-turnover over past three months sub-index increased by 2.8% to 103.7 and demand-turnover expectation over next three months sub-index increased by 9.7% to 119.6.
Retail trade confidence index realized as 105.7
Seasonally adjusted retail trade confidence index increased by 4.8% in June to 105.7. In retail trade sector compared to the previous month, business activity-sales over past three months sub-index increased by 5.0% to 106.0. The current volume of stock sub-index decreased by 1.5% to 89.4 and business activity-sales expectation over next three months sub-index increased by 9.6% to 121.6.
Construction confidence index realized as 82.4
Seasonally adjusted construction confidence index which was 79.6 in May increased by 3.6% in June to 82.4. In construction sector compared to the previous month, current overall order books sub-index became 76.3 by increasing 2.3%. Total employment expectation over next three months sub-index increased by 4.6% to 88.6.
In construction sector, 46.9% of the enterprises indicated at least one factor limiting their activities while 53.1% of the enterprises indicated none in June. Among the main factors limiting activities in construction sector; "financial constraints" which was 24.2% in May realized as 26.7% in June, "insufficient demand" which was 26.6% in May realized as 19.1% in June and "other factors" which was 30.1% in May realized as 25.8% in June.
